To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. My desktop is pretty ancient so I wouldnt be terribly surprised if that was a factor but I also have never had this issue before and was able to play and create sims without glitches. Duplicates might also cause it along with multiple versions that use the same CC slot.
